Tetons and Yellowstone National Parks 9/19/2015 - 9/26/2015

Day 6 - Time to head back to the Tetons! We stopped by the Norris Geyser Basin and did the Porcelain Basin boardwalk. Afterwards, we stopped at the Mud Volcano, which was really neat. Skirting around Yellowstone Lake, we walked through West Thumb, where some of the springs poured right into the lake.

Near the Tetons, we stopped at a turn-out near Jackson Lake Lodge, where Jeff took a breathtaking photo of shimmering golden aspens with Jackson Lake in the foreground and the Tetons rising in the background. Not long after, we spotted a mature Bald Eagle soaring overhead.

Before reaching Jackson, we stopped at the National Museum of Wildlife Art, which was astounding. After a quick dinner at Sidewinders, we walked around the town square and window shopped. A pleasant evening, and a perfect time to reflect on our amazing journey.
